During its growth phase it identified its need to ensure it had an IT platform capable of managing a growing number of documentation surrounding each legal matter.
The IT platform needed to be robust, scalable and built with longevity in mind and also use contemporary .Net and XML technologies to achieve the desired result.
Galilee engaged IT Easy to assist our internal IT staff to build a system capable to meet its needs, this included workflow and documentation management and billing.
This very basic platform, then known as Matterwatch was commissioned in 2003 and used by over 60 staff.
Since its introduction, this platform now known as GOLD, has undergone major architectural and functionality changes and has handled in excess of 300,000 legal matters (which included over 4 million Word documents) and is used by 120 staff across Australia.
